By any means necessary?

Seems to be the thinking... Their cause is "just" therefore their means are justified. Especially since it's been clearly established that voters on the Right of the political spectrum are bad people.

That there is a key bit of clarity for our times. Those on the right think folks on the left are wrong, well intentioned, but, wrong in their thinking. On the other hand, those on the left think people on the right are bad people.

Now then, once they've concluded someone is a bad person they can rationalize all sorts of behavior to contain them. Their higher cause is just and their opponents are bad people:h therefore facist intimidation and suppression of the opposition is justified.
